Meetings are held in the Lecture Room of Accrington Library, St James Street, Accrington BB5 1NQ commencing at 7.30pm (except for the AGM) 


Subscriptions of £12.00 per person for October 2023 to April 2024 meetings can be paid at any meeting. 


Visitors are welcome to attend individual meetings, space permitting. Admission £3.00 per meeting.

9 January 2020 NB Graham Topping is unable to give his talk on 'Coalmines of Accrington and Oswaldtwistle'. We hope to rearrange this for a date in next year's programme. We wish Graham a speedy recovery from his treatment. 

NB At very short notice our Secretary has arranged for Peter Watson from Bacup to come and give us a talk on 9th January as usual entitled "An older person's guide to nostalgia" which promises to be a fairly light hearted entertainment featuring items we will remember from our early days.
